It was super to be joined by Mary Keogh, Mahbub Kabir and Gordon Rattray for this session.

Mary is the Advocacy Director with CBM Global Disability Inclusion where she is responsible for leading the implementation of CBM’s advocacy strategy. She has worked in international development for over 15 years with a particular interest in developing and implementing evidenced based advocacy strategies (country and global level) focused on persons with disabilities linking intersectional, climate justice and human rights. Mary completed a PhD which was a comparative analysis on how governments mainstream disability in international development assistance. Mary is also an accredited mediator and is passionate about the power of mediation between community and advocacy groups for tackling complex challenges.

Mahbub is CBM Ireland’s Advocacy and Inclusion Advisory Manager. Mahbub holds a Masters in Anthropology and has many years of experience in the development sector.
