It was excellent to be in conversation with Dan White of Disability Rights UK (DR UK) for this session.
Dan White is policy and campaigns officer at DR UK, and author of four children’s books around inclusive themes. He is a carer with and for his daughter, and an Ambassador for the Campaign for Disability Awareness and Inclusive Minds. He has published a collection of poems dealing with mental health, disability and politics, as well as a comic book featuring five disabled superheroes.
In this session, Dan reflected on the work of DR UK in leading a coalition of global disability climate activists to respond to the climate crisis.
